Thinking about opening a new business? Want to know if your idea is the next hot product? Do you have a company and need someone to review your corporate structure? All of the above products had the same hurdles you are going to, or have faced, in the beginning, middle and peak stages of your business experience. The difference in the above and the long list of products which never made it to market revolve around who is involved with your business and how you make decisions.

Knowing how to start a business and the obstacles to avoid can be the difference between success and failure. A failed business is devastating from both a financial as well as emotional perspective. You must remove as many stumbling rocks as possible to avoid losing your savings or jeopardize your family's future. Every business must take risks but knowing when and which ones are critical.

 

Most individuals when they decide they want to break away from the corporate “Man” do so with the best intentions, maybe a decent idea, great desire but little entrepreneurial business experience. Even with limited experience some of the ideas still turn into big hits, for a short period of time, but then fade away as fast as they rose. Typically, new or business' that have been around for 1- 4 years rely on friends, family and maybe competitors for their direction. Problem is that most friends, family or competitors aren't going to be able to give the best advice because they themselves haven't encountered your particular obstacle. They may think they have the answer and even come across with authority but the bottom line is you're the one with the future of your family on the line and when the waves finally come crashing in you'll find - You are all alone!


If you want to start or expand your business than it is Wisdom/Knowledge that you need more than all of the other components combined. I have founded several successful business ventures and have been in the corporate world and know how it operates. I understand the desire to break free from the daily mundane tasks but I also know some of the prices you will pay in order to achieve that sense of freedom. Knowing, or at least having a good idea, of what is coming and what to expect will allow for better business decisions and increased growth.

No one has all of the answers but my past business endeavors have given me an expertise when it comes to establishing a new business or growing an existing one. One of which is that success can only be achieved by having a good idea/product/service, passion for the project and a willingness to seek outside mentors in order to grow.
